Co-development of a Dynamic Library of Personalised Gestures

Developing a dynamic library of personalised gestures is essential in enhancing the user experience in augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) applications. CDLPG will create a module capable of accurately capturing and interpreting a wide range of hand gestures that can be used across various AR/VR applications within the CORTEX2 platform. This technology will make interactions more intuitive and facilitate greater adoption of AR/VR technology in different sectors.

WHAT MAKESCDLPG'S SOLUTION UNIQUE?

The scenario for this project addresses a key challenge in the AR/VR space: developing a gesture recognition module adaptable to applications within the CORTEX2 framework. Existing systems struggle with recognising a wide range of specific gestures, particularly when performed differently by users, which not only affects consistency but also poses a challenge in ensuring reliable gesture interpretation. Another technical barrier is the integration of this module with both the CORTEX2 framework and different hardware devices, given the diverse nature of devices and technologies used in AR/VR.
