In addition, they created an MVP scene, demonstrating the system’s potential for multiplayer haptic interactions.

Q: How would you summarise MHI’s latest advancements within the CORTEX2 programme?
A: We have made the full integration of the SG interaction system and OpenXR hand tracking, enabled users to engage in social interactions, such as handshakes and high-fives, within a virtual environment, and created an MVP scene.
Q: What key milestones has MHI achieved, and what impact have they had?
A: We now have for the first time an MVP of a scene where people with haptic gloves can interact with other people using hand tracking.

A: Our next step is polishing the MVP to a shareable scene and testing it with the CORTEX2 partners.
